About the Global GT1


The Global GT1 is capable of well over 120mph, enabling it to complete a lap of the Snetterton race circuit in just 1 Minute 10 seconds (by comparison the lap record for a Vauxhall Astra in the British Touring Car series was 1minute 11seconds).

  • Purpose designed and built racing chassis, T45 Tubing.  FIA, SCAA and MSA Approved.
  • Approx 390kg excl. Driver
  • 1000cc Yamaha R1 DOHC 4-cylinder 20-valve motorbike engine (for Class C in Bikesports)
  • 6-speed sequential gearbox.
  • Double wishbone front and rear suspension, Íhlins/Dynamic dampers, coil over springs.
  • 6 Pot Front, 2 Pot Rear Brake Calipers
  • 13" x 7" Rims with Either Radial or Crossply Slick Tyres
  • 6 Point Harness & Dual Outlet AFFF Fire Extinguisher
  • 3 Piece Lightweight Bodywork
  • FIA Approved, Foam Filled Fuel Tank

Bikesports is one of the classes that the Global GT1 can race in.  It is a fast growing sport with a loyal and enthusiastic following. It is considered an entry level into GT car racing and is the showcase for new and emerging talent.
